Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge (PS4) First 3 levels
11I downloaded this earlier in the week, but only got around to giving it a proper playthrough today. I was a massive, massive fan of the old Konami arcade game and I think this does a great job of being a modern sequel that stays true to the spirit of the original. It's definitely pretty easy to get through the whole thing (I've recorded my whole playthrough, but thought I'd upload it in stages). This is just the first 3 levels, up until I died for the first time (and this was one of the only times).
I played on normal and the only level which really gave me any trouble was the Technodrome one, bit even then it wasn't too tricky once I'd sussed the enemy attack patterns a bit better. Having said it's a bit easy, I'm in my mid 40's now and I actually appreciate games that don't make me want to hurl my controller at the TV. The levelling up system seems a bit slow though, which meant there wasn't much incentive to use other characters on the harder levels than the ones I'd put some time into.
Didn't enjoy this quite as much as Streets of Rage 4, but it's still good fun. Mental that it's got Mike Patton from Faith No More and Ghostface Killa from Wu Tang doing the lyrics to some of the tunes. There was a nice animated into that I don't show here, as I'm sure the music would cause matched 3rd party content issues ..
