For some reasons, Mynisera believes that she might get the letter out of Gortwog's hands by sweet talking him. This only works because orcs don't need it any more. But I still must fight through to get the letter — presumably, Gortwog loves to see his men (or orcs) die. This quest completes the first of Emperor's tasks — and I learn more about mysterious Numidium and the Totem of Tiber Septim.
