Daizo's Journey (Cancelled Build) - W2-4 - Elevator Volcano
52024 revealed the release of "Daizo's Journey ~ Chapter 1: To Rise Above All" and a few people were curious what will happen to the original Daizo's Journey build I started back at around 2011/2012. So I'm releasing videos of what is now going to be known as the "Cancelled Build" which I'll release as a hack at some point in the future. This will document every single finished level I made.
Elevator Volcano is my buddy @ChaseNScooter's favourite levels (as he ported both versions of Goldeneye 007's Frigate for this level). This is basically my unique take on Castle Crush except it's in an active volcano, and you have to escape near the end. The idea was Daizoken accidentally fell in this mountain, and ends up being stuck going down to the lava. Minion 006 notices and plays it off as a trap. There was also going to be a boss fight against Minion 006 that kinda plays like Gutsman from Mega Man.
Plan for the future -
Honestly it would mostly be the same structure-wise, just I think I want to emphasize the elevator part a lot more, and have redone level design. I also really like the grinder n' chains.
