Dark Souls 2 SOTFS playthrough part 28 Tough NPCs in the Dark Chasm of Old and Boss Darklurker
0...yeah because of all the grinding I did off screen I decided to do this covenant instead this one ranks up depending on he dark chasms.
In there you need to beat ALL of the enemies AND light the huge sconce so MAKE SURE YOU BRING FIRE BUTTERFLIES YOU NEED THEM!!
You go up to rank 1 when you complete on of the chasms and rank 2 when you do all 3 chasms this also includes lighting up those huge bowls.
Now as for rank 3 you need to beat the boss darklurker now when you complete the third area you will go straight towards the boss I suggest using a homeward bone OR the aged feather to get out of there. The first reason is to get your rank up to level 2 and get your reward and the other reason is that most likely you don't have enough flasks or spells to help you beat this thing.
This thing hates miracles that do thunder damage OR if your don't have much faith use pyromancy fighting this thing with ranged combat is best as later on it will split into 2 and they will both fire magic at you yeah ALL of it's attacks are magic based so having armour and a shield with high magic defence can really help out here!
and YES I know I totally forgot after talking to him to reach rank 3 TALK TO HIM AGAIN to get a chime off him sorry about that I totally forgot to get that off him LOL!
Lastly I show off my soul grinding method!
PS:Next time we do the DLC for real there's nothing else I can really show off now but off screen I will be fighting certain bosses again to get a specific weapon.
