I'm usually happy enough with a co-invader if they're able to; 1 - not attack me; 2 - survive on their own, and 3 - do some damage to the host and summons. So it's notably painful seeing one die trying to get a hail mary parry instead of rolling away to heal, especially when they're still at/near full estus and with an ally nearby.
