Dark Souls 3: Have Pew, Will Parry (Raw Clip)
Spells in PVP are difficult to land because they all have very telegraphed animations and as such I view them more as utilities than outright damage sources. When one of my spells does hit then that's just a free bonus because my intent in using them is generally to apply pressure or cause a behavior I can expect and then punish. Take Great Farron Dart for example, it causes no stagger and although its minimal damage will add up over time it's much more useful as a fast and cheap parry bait.
