I hate invaders who betray other invaders or are just outright traitors regardless. If you're using a greatbow while a co-invader exists in the world though you are not an invader; you are a coward, a liability to other invaders, waste of an invasion slot, and trash unable to actually fight. More importantly to any smart invader you are an enemy that needs to be killed as you are more likely to get them killed than you are to kill one of the gankers.

If you're alone against a gank it's fine to use a greatbow but as soon as you have a co-invader get in there and actually provide meaningful backup. Get the attention of at least one ganker and try to eliminate them one by one, it is far more effective than occasionally landing a great arrow that deals 200-600 damage. If you invade a world I'm in but refuse to come down and actually help I will personally see to it that you are removed from the world (and I know several other invaders that share this opinion with me).

Note at 2:31, I would rather have a caster such as this one potentially hit me for a lot of damage than a greatbow invader. At least in this case it was an accident (you can watch the lock on break from host due to distance and the poor auto target switch, which I recommend disabling if you're invading, defaults to the next closest thing it can target). These types of caster are likely to hit the gank more often than another invader and more importantly also frequently enough that the gank won't just ignore it leaving an invader to deal with a numbers disadvantage when they should have backup.
