Co-op players don't hate pvp. The amount of times a group doesn't enter a fog wall versus those who solely focus on doing so is enough proof of that. PVP is fun, people just generally doubt themselves to stay collected when in slightly unfamiliar conditions. Note how the turning point in this invasion was at 4:00 when the sunbro either had too much doubt to continue or they in fact really only wanted to help for the boss fight.
