Dark Souls 3: My First PVP Full Armor Swap (Raw Clip)
32Despite getting them fairly consistently on various PVE enemies I still can't get full armor swaps consistently in pvp. Generally I swap each piece and then accidentally remove a random piece or I do some odd combination of removing and swapping each piece. It was only after a livestream, the day before I captured this clip and where I came REALLY close to getting a clean full armor swap on a few occasions, that I felt it would be a good idea committing a day to JUST crit fishing until I got the swap. Although maining a regular rapier was kinda a poor choice as I killed a few good possibilities with backstabs early.
I spent about 3-4 hours the next day while loosely trying to co-invade with a few streamers with various SLs and setups. Originally I figured I'd edit all the failed attempts together with the first success at the end for a video but after going through all the clips of those two days there wasn't really enough to make a good montage and I don't have enough time to dig through the large collection of older clips I have just to look for failed attempts. Unfortunately with the limited selection of clips I had I was finding it too difficult to make something that I was happy with so I eventually just abandoned the idea.
It wasn't until recently that I realized I had forgotten to do anything with the key clip (aside from posting about it on Twitter). I still can't do this trick consistently in pvp and I only try to do so on rare occasion but finding that it was within my abilities was very satisfying. If nothing else the effort to go for full armor swaps have made my normal swaps feel much easier afterwards.
