Although you could min/max swaps to do more damage (swapping a general ring for hornet, swapping a low ar weapon for one that will do more damage, or if the situation were right swapping your offhand to Morion Blade) I generally only do swaps to be fancy and add some extra interest to the situation. Hence why all my swaps are only armor swaps, as they result in the most apparent change. Most people already know my go to swap is the Symbol of Avarice, because it looks silly and I like mimics. :P

There's no benefit to swapping to the Symbol of Avarice, if anything it has 2 notable negatives. The first being the strong hp drain, even when it's broken (which took a long time to break btw) it still has the same 10 hp/tick drain. The second being it is heavy, weighing 8.9 Miya units it is the 3rd heaviest helmet in the game so unless you're wearing Smough's or Havel's helm or have a lot of extra carry weight chances are it will cause you to slow roll.

Because of this the mimic swap can occasionally put me into a bad situation, especially when I don't expect someone to stand their ground after the swap and I go for an early roll catch. When I do a swap though I'm not going for efficiency, if I was I wouldn't be parrying in the first place. I'm trying to make it clear that something unique happened. Even if my opponent doesn't understand what a swap is I'm sure they can recognize the sudden and drastic appearance change.
