All the variables of this invasion felt like it was going to end with a fog wall struggle so it was really nice that for once it didn't. Host probably just had crossed the bridge as I entered the world, had no way of coming back because he/she cut it to escape the skeletons, and didn't want to send me home via the fog wall (I'm guessing that the door was intentionally kept shut to loosely signal this). So his/her only way of interacting at the start was through the use of a Seed of a Giant Tree and Way of Blue.

Sidenote: 2:18 I still think ravioli steps are commonly way too risky in pvp (just so many opportunities for an opponent to hit you in unstable frames or outright backstab you) but here is a pretty good example of one with minimal risk and a good payoff.
