Dark Souls Boss Guide - Part 2 - Bell Gargoyles
502Atop the Undead Parish, the Bell Gargoyles lay in wait to murder your poor undead body. Fortunately, there is a few ways to minimize the trauma of this 1v2 fight. My first recommendation is to fight with a white phantom i.e. a random stranger or an NPC like Solaire.
If you're stubborn and want to fight alone, then watch the video for some helpful advice. I'm using equipment found in the Undead Parish and am at level 10. Coming back later, using the Drake Sword, or upgrading your weapons and shield to +5 are all ways to significantly reduce the stress of this fight, so keep those in mind too!
Other useful tips not present in the video include using Gold Pine Resin (lightning effect for your weapon), Firebombs (preferably black firebombs), and Pyromancy spells (like good old fireball).
Remember, the second gargoyle doesn't appear until the first has 50% health left!
