271The Capra Demon is my second most hated boss in Dark Souls and for good reason too. My first character was a nimble, squishy thief that could not survive two attacks from this guy. So many deaths...
Although not as infuriating as another boss we'll cover later on (hint - the opening music for the video comes from the fight I'm talking about), the Capra Demon is a common sticking point for fellow Hollows.
The crux of my strategy here is using the Aural Decoy spell to distract the dogs and the Capra Demon long enough to kill the two dogs. Once the fight is one on one, it becomes much more manageable as Capra's attacks, save two, can be harmlessly blocked with a proper shield.
Of course, going into human form and summoning some help is a viable strategy as well as upgrading your shield or using the Drake Sword (which will chop a dog down in one hit). This video doesn't use any of those techniques, but feel free to try them out if you're still stuck!
