Genocide Run involves killing every possible NPC in Dark Souls within a single playthrough. This does not include characters such as Frampt, who cannot be killed. It also does not necessarily mean killing NPCs as soon as they are first encountered, as it is sometimes necessary to follow a character's questline for another character to appear.

NPCs in Part 7:

-Siegmeyer of Catarina: in order to progress his questline, you must turn the crank on the indiana jones ball rolling machine so that they are redirected out the window. this will allow him to proceed unhindered.

-Crestfallen Merchant: he can be killed at any time you like but he does sell some useful stuff so it may be best to wait until the end of the game before you kill him.

-Ricard: he is already hollow, and so can be killed immediately.

-Big Hat Logan: he can be killed right away if you like, but you'll be fighting on a narrow walkway so it may be safer to wait until he returns to Firelink Shrine. if you are doing a sorcery build you may instead prefer to follow his questline which will end up killing him anyway.

-Ingward: he can be killed right away but it's probably best to buy as many transient curses as you can first.
