Oppressive PD team is a ,,damage-stress“ team, here are roles of characters:
1st: Shieldbreaker (dodge trinkets) - stress dealer
2nd: Crusader (damage trinkets) - damage dealer
3rd: Highwayman (damage trinkets) - damage dealer
4th: Plague doctor (stress trinket + accuracy trinket) - stress dealer
PROS:
1) Great damage output
2) Great stress output
3) Great DoT output
4) Great healing potential
5) 3 disruptors
6) Disruption isn’t a menace
CONS:
1) Marks are a menace
2) Stuns are a menace
3) Stress is a menace
Oppressive PD is a nice damage team with great strenght of stress and DoT. You have 3 disruptors, 2 healers and many ways for dealing stress and DoT. Sadly this team is vulnerable against mark teams.
I tried to play a few strategies, like „mix damage + DoT“, „the finishers“, „support Crusader“ and „mix damage + stress“. I tried also both variantions of Plague doctor (stresser / DoT), both variantions are good.
My advice: Start with Highwayman for opening the riposte, next use Shieldbreaker for disruption, then Crusader for stunning someone and lastly Plague doctor for applying stress.
First things first, really shame, that I couldn’t find the original setup. I was wondering, how could be originally played. And secondly, almost only novices (unless the last 2 matches). I think the team is very good. You can make pressure or chaos on the other side, dealing damage to the backline. Unless facing the mark team would be very hard, Plague doctor is an easy target. If I could faced at least one another harder opponent, I would give them the highest rate. Anyway, not a bad team!
