The Scorned is a ,,damage-stress“ team, here are roles of characters:
1st: Bounty hunter (Grappling Mits + damage trinket) - deathblow dealer
2nd: Man at arms (Spiked shield + Protector’s Kite) - guardian
3rd: Houndmaster (dodge trinket + accuracy trinket) - damage dealer
4th: Arbalest (healing trinket + Stabilizing Tiller) - damage dealer
PROS:
1) Mark synergy (Bounty hunter / Houndmaster + Arbalest)
2) Great damage output
3) Great stress output
4) Great DoT output
5) 2 guardians
6) 3 disruptors
7) 2 deathblowers
CONS:
1) Stress is a menace
2) DoT is a menace
3) Disruption is a menace
4) RNGsus is a menace
The Scorned is a damage team that combines stress and also DoT. You have 2 (self)healers, 2 guardians, 3 disruptors, 2 deathblowers (if we count Arbalest’s „Sniper shot“ on marked character) and powerful mark synergy. Sadly this team is vulnerable against DoT and stress teams.
I tried to play a few strategies, like „mark team“, „double finisher“, „original setup“ and „full stress“. The only good strategy is „mark team“, others are not that good.
My advice: Start with Bounty hunter for disruption, next use Man at arms for guarding someone (Arbalest or Bounty hunter), then Houndmaster for applying DoT / marking someone and lastly Arbalest for dealing massive damage.
About score: A match against novice player with Leper. He started as first, used Leper’s „Purge“ on my Bounty hunter, but it failed. Then I used Bounty hunter for disruption and opponent didn’t react. A few turns pass out, then he surrendered. The match was longer than 2 minutes, but opponent actually did nothing. So… no victory.
About team: Hard to play. I don’t know, how is possible to beat harder opponents. Played 2x against darkest players and they beated me easily - one with mark team, second with stress team. Even playing against easier opponents was hard. It’s a shame, that I didn’t have a chance to try „original setup“ on real player. Still, I don’t like this team.
