Darkest Dungeon II - Gameplay and Thoughts
4Let's play Darkest Dungeon 2! This video is longer than my usual ones because I wanted to showcase some differences between Darkest Dungeon and Darkest Dungeon 2. For those of you unaware, the game did away with base management in favor of more traditional roguelite mechanics - shorter runs, meta progression, etc. This is important to know because it seems a lot of people are complaining there's no base management - if that's your cuppa tea, you'll be disappointed.
With all that said, I'm about 10 hours in now, and having a blast. There are needed improvements - some UI changes, the stagecoach is uninteresting, some of the relationship stuff needs work. But the combat is great, the art is amazing, audio is amazing. I'm enjoying it so far!
