Darksiders 3 Reckoning Difficulty(Blind Playthrough) - Lust Boss sparing Usiel Easiest Way
1I fought this boss 50-80 times trying to beat it on Reckoning. difficulty on a blind new playthrough.
Unfortunately I made a mic mistake so I'll write down what to do.
Before the fight:
-Immediately start in Flame Hollow for triple Jump.
Part 1:
-When landing immediately do those three jumps and make your way to the right pillar.
-Lure lust to the lower side of the pillar he will usually walk over close then attack you, Fury can jump over the gap near the wall while Lust cannot.
-Double jumping and holding forward should give you enough space to not get hit by Lust either side, if lust starts moving towards the your side wait until Lust is in front of the pillar then jump so Lust doesn't turn around and attack you, using this pillar gives you time time to heal or time to charge wrath/havoc if you have those enhancements.
-So to attack you have two options.
-Flame Hollows third jump with drops fire is the safest and also keeps Lust on the other side attacking and definitely out Lusts attack range of range but it's very slow(You can just use this to keep Lust in position in case she moves away.).
-The second is to jump and use Fury's whip which is much faster. Possibly best standing on the corner of the pillar for safety against Lust attacks because how low they are.
Part 2: Usiel Joins.
-Go into Flame hollow for more dodge capabilities.
-Every time starting Usiel runs towards you lead him a good bit away from Lust so he won't try to attack you while you go for lust, run past him and always double dodge straight to avoid his attacks.
-After Usiel has done his running attack you will have time to move in on Lust, To kill lust just jump or double jump and attack with your whip same method as Part 1(You can also use a pause between your double jump and attacks to dodge Lusts attacks.).
-After dodging Usiel you will get to jump and attack Lust about two times before he charges you again, as long as you leave distance between him and Lust I don't think he will do his other attacks.
Doing this method you may get hit by Lusts attacks especially his jump one if you are unlucky so have healing items to power through but the 4 Nephlims Respite you can get by this point should be enough. Rinse and repeat this method and you will slaughter this boss.
