This is a play-through using Huitzil / Phobos in the PS1 version of Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors. Read on below for more information...

Huitzil/Phobos is the penultimate boss in the game. He is an unplayable character.

Just like the Arcade version of the game, he is fully playable with no problems.

Additionally, he has an unused Laser which appears to be an unfinished and unused super move where he gears up one of his arms and fires out a beam that lasts very briefly. After this, he is stuck in this animation and you cannot regain control. He needs to be hit out of it by the opponent to regain control. You can see this move in the first match of this video, beginning at 0:48.

===== Additional Information =====

---- He doesn't have a Special gauge/bar at the bottom of the screen.

---- Despite being an unselectable/unplayable character, he actually has a 2nd colour palette if both players select him.

---- Unlike the Arcade version, on the character select screen his cursor position is next to Sasquatch to the right.

---- On the character select screen, if Phobos is highlighted, pressing Right will highlight Pyron (the 2nd and final boss).

---- When playing as him in Arcade Mode, you will not fight CPU Huitzil, and instead skip straight to Pyron. This is because you never fight yourself in Arcade Mode of this game.

---- While playing as Huitzil in Arcade Mode, when you reach the 2 bosses and the character select screen 'extends', you can actually see your own cursor on Huitzil's icon.

---- If you complete Arcade Mode with him, he doesn't have an ending, instead it goes straight to the credits. This is actually different to the Arcade version, where in that he actually had a proper ending, with animated pictures and nonsense text underneath being just blocks of the letter 'A'.

---- Obviously, because this is a port to the PS1, a lot of sprites/animation has been cut/removed from the original Arcade version. If you've got a good eye for this kind of thing you can definitely tell.
