Pyron is the final boss in the game. He is an unplayable character.
Just like the Arcade version of the game, he is fully playable with no problems.
===== Additional Information =====
---- Notice how fast he can repeatedly jam out his standing MK and HK in quick succession. You'd expect this for LK, but definitely not for MK and HK.
---- He doesn't have a Special gauge/bar at the bottom of the screen.
---- He cannot dash left or right.
---- His basics do chip depletion!
---- Despite being an unselectable/unplayable character, he actually has a 2nd colour palette if both players select him.
---- On the character select screen, if Pyron is highlighted, pressing Left will highlight Phobos.
---- Unlike the Arcade version, on the character select screen his cursor position is next to Huitzil to the right.
---- If you complete Arcade Mode with him, he doesn't have an ending, instead it goes straight to the credits. This is actually different to the Arcade version, where in that the game goes into a black screen and locks instead.
---- Obviously, because this is a port to the PS1, a lot of sprites/animation has been cut/removed from the original Arcade version. If you've got a good eye for this kind of thing you can definitely tell.
