Finally, the release of Darkstone PS1 Tweaks! It aims to improve the game with quality of life changes and bugs fixes.

The video is aimed at people who have already played the game and understand the changes, but here's more explanation if anyone has never played the game but is considering using it:

60 FPS (DuckStation only): The game originally runs at 20 fps for ntsc-u and 16 for pal, which makes the game not very smooth, especially since when there are multiple effects on the screen, the framerate can go down to 7-8 fps. At some point on original hardware the game is almost unplayable. I highly recommend to play on DuckStation emulator for the CPU overclock coupling this feature.

60 To 50 Legend Difficulty Level Requirement: The Legend difficulty is accessible from level 60, which makes no sense considering the gap between the previous difficulty, 20-15-10... and then 15? Even more when you know how difficult it is to level up from level 45, going level 50 from level 45 is already a good challenge that requires hours.

Expand Hero And Legend Shops: For some reason, the Hero and Legend shops use the Novice shop, which makes them almost useless because the bonuses do not match to the difficulty and regular loots. Using this feature will expand them using the Master growth but with your difficulty (Hero or Legend) bonuses.

Permanent Shops Items: Some items in the shop (spell books, jewels or elixirs) can only be purchased once from the shop and require closing and then reopening the shop to bring them back, which is tedious, using this feature will make all items permanent.
