Darrazand the Balor general blocks my path! | Ep. 40 | Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous Let's Play
4Welcome to my Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous playthrough! In this fourtieth episode, we end up in a tavern brawl with our largest demon so far, Zgur the Gnawbone.
The party leaves the barracks and as expected, runs straight into combat with Babau and Nabasu demons.
After purging the demons from the local graveyard we enter a location that is called 'The ruins'. A simple-looking house, that turns out to lead to an underground former temple of Iomedae.
Cauldar also finds the third key which reveals a secret doorway into the walls of Drezen. Inside the party finds another lever to open the gates.
The final attack on the inner part of Drezen is near. The stairs are defended by Retriever. Remember those? The party encountered one in its underground lair a few episodes ago.
Daeran has the bright idea to summon undead to keep it occupied while the party deals with a Fallen Crusader. Then Wendu is able to trip the massive beast and attacks of opportunity kill it.
But that was not our biggest challenge. Inside the courtyard Darrazand, a demon general awaits us.
Will we succeed in defeating him?

We want you to feel the scale of the conflict in Wrath of the Righteous with the Crusade system—a new strategic layer of gameplay built specifically for this adventure. At a certain point in the game, you will be granted command of the Fifth Crusade: a grand push against the demons. From that point on, you venture forth not only with your party but by recruiting troops and their leaders. Gradually you will build up armies of thousands and march them across the Worldwound to seize back the territories and their treasures from the enemy.
