In part three of our tutorial series about data-driven animation in After Effects, you’ll learn how to show or hide layers in your project based on the data in a JSON file. As an example, I’ll explain how to show or hide the icons for sun, clouds and rain in our weather forecast template based on the weather data. Technically, we do this by linking the opacity of the icon layers to the JSON file. Again, we’ll use our free extension mamoworldJSON to create these links.
