Lizzie has been avoiding and disrespecting her Mom since she heard that her parents will soon get divorces. Cassandra is worried about Lizzie's disrespect to her, so and complains to the grandma. Meanwhile, the grandma told her to be there for her daughter who is unhappy with the divorce. Cassandra follows her mom's advice and she prepares snacks to take to her daughter who is practicing a Tik Tok dance with her friend, Angie.

While Angie is teaching Lizzie how to dance for Tik Tok, Cassandra brings some snacks for them, but she is shocked to realize that her daughter becomes angrier with her.

"Are you freaking for real right now? Mom, you just ruined everything. I just had this dance down," Lizzie screams.

The mom plays down Lizzie's attitude and even offers to hold a phone to record their training session or learn the dance with them.

But Lizzy gets further angry and calls her mom 'Karen', a slang term for a nasty, angry, entitled, and an often racist middle-aged white woman who uses her privilege to get her way or police other people's behaviors.

The mom feels embarrassed, leaves their company, and starts crying somewhere.
But Lizzie and Angie continue their dance session.

Addison Rae sees Cassandra crying and comforts her to ignore her daughter's attitude. Rae later decides to teach Cassandra a Tik Tok dance and share it with her Tik Tok followers.

While checking her Tik Tok, Angie comes across an interesting video posted by her neighbor, Addison Rae. Angie calls the attention of her friend, Lizzie to it. But they become surprised when they realize that Cassandra also dances in the popular video, which has gotten 100,000 likes in just 30 minutes.

They both regret not collaborating with Lizzie's mom who is now Tik Tok famous.

Now, Lizzie approaches her mom and apologizes for her behavior.

"It's Okay. I want you to be happy. But I also want you to be respectful."

Cassandra realizes that Lizzie has seen her in Addison Rae's video, so she tries to behave more respectfully.
Lizzie explains that she had been rude to her mom because she didn't know how to express her concern about the divorce between her mom and dad. She also regrets calling her mom a Karen.

Mom accepts her apology and advises her to always be respectful no matter the condition.

Then they talk about how popular Cassandra's Tik Tok video has become and how they can both make a video together. They also share the love for each other and promise to sustain the love.

This story teaches us that you can't judge a book by its cover, even if the book is old. Creativity and imagination won't fade with age. Working together with different kinds of people can make something truly unique and wonderful.
