Hey Everyone, AlteredCalyx here. We're going doing a First Playthrough of Dragon's Dogma 2.

We started off as level 44, Trickster. It was a jam packed stream. It was longer than usual and we did a lot. Not quest wise, but everything else 😅
Failed Glyndwr's escort quest 😣. I found him at my home in Vernworth and he asked to do an escort quest. I said sure and took and oxcart bc it was slightly closer to destination. The quest failed. Maybe because I didn't pay for his fare 🤷🏻♀️ 😅
Jack is back to Fighter. He's been a Thief for a while and I couldn't help but feel his exp was being "wasted". So we're going to max his Fighter and then maybe Warrior as well. I don't think his Straightforward inclination would go well with Mage or even Sorcerer. Oh, he could probably do Archer as well to get the Stamina augment and the one that lets you to climb cliffs and foes more quickly.
I'm getting the hang of Trickster, but the fights are slower going. I'm thinking about dropping Mage for more dps. I'll just have to stock my pawns with more healing potions/roborants.
Entered Dragonsbreath Tower and met Sigurd. He said he wanted to join up for the upcoming battle, but he got lost and wasn't there when we fought the dragon. After we downed the dragon he gave what I'm guessing to be the Mystic Spearhand Maister teaching. I couldn't use it at the time since I never switched to Mystic Spearhand before.
Finally found Medusa albeit too late for the Fulvio quest.
Encountered Dullahan (again), but we couldn't finish the fight before morning came 😭. This fight was all sorts of messed up. We were down 1 party member, fighting off other undead, another pawn died. I ended up running for my life, sorry pawns!
Encountered a cool looking Lich! But we couldn't finish the fight before morning so it vanished 😭
Dullahan we meet again. This time with a full party. We came out victorious.
Completed the series of poison quests for Jarle. He's a peculiar one that guy.

Playthrough Details:
Funny how I didn't even know about this game a few months ago, but it kept creeping up on my radar. Someone would mention it, posts about it would appear in my feed, etc. I caved in once I saw Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen was on a mega sale on Steam. I figured I'd try out the first one to see what the hype was leading up to Dragon's Dogma 2. I had a blast for such an old game.
I'm going in with minimal outside knowledge of the game and haven't looked into any guides.
Also, I don't usually save scum decisions because I want to feel like my choices have consequences (good or bad). BUT I'm not opposed to reloading if I feel I've missed out on notable loot 😈
