Day of the Tentacle is on the list for the funny-as-hell adventures of three different characters as they tackle problems within the same house but in different periods of time: the present, 200 years in the past, and 200 years in the future. This opens up some bizarre possibilities for puzzles such as hiding away some wine to get some vinegar for the future or socking away a few hundred thousand quarters to shrink a sweater. All this to stop the mad plans of a purple tentacle that grew some limbs thanks to toxic waste. Classic.
