I haven't played any Daytona 2 for quite awhile, but I felt inspired to have a few games today and actually have a proper serious stab at trying to finish in a half respectable position. And it paid off because I finally managed to get 1st place in the advanced course. This is using Supermodel Sega Model 3 emulator (this is the WIP v0.3 - SVN 261). This was recorded using the free version of fraps which is limited to 30 second videos, which I've then combined together in windows movie maker. At times I've stopped the recording early so I could restart it just before a difficult stretch so, I wouldn't need to be fumbling around to restart the recording at a crucial point. Having said that though, I did cock the recording up a tiny bit on the last lap. At a point just after the L shaped Space Harrier turn the recording had stopped and I didn't realise and restart it until I was approaching the final turn, so there a couple of seconds missing where the western themed hair pin is.
