Here, I do a quick run through of (almost) all the different versions of Daytona USA that have been released over the years since it's original arcade debut back in 1994, by going through an 8 lap race on the beginner circuit, with each lap representing a different system and year.

1st lap: Arcade - via Model 2 Emulator (Daytona USA -1994)
2nd lap: Sega Saturn (Daytona USA -1995)
3rd lap: Sega Saturn (Championship Circuit Edition - 1996)
4th lap: Sega Dreamcast (Daytona USA: 2001)
5th lap: Arcade - via Supermodel Emulator (Daytona 2: Battle on the Edge -1998)
6th lap: Arcade - via Supermodel Emulator (Daytona 2: Power Edition - 1998)
7th lap: PlayStation 3 (Daytona USA -2011)
8th lap: Arcade - via Model 2 Emulator (Daytona USA -1994)

A few things of note: Apart from the PS3 version, all the version here are played on emulators. My video capture from PC to PS3 only works in slightly fuzzy looking SD, so it mangles the graphical quality of the PS3 version. The PS3 version of Daytona looks crystal clear on my big screen TV in full HD normally. The original Saturn version of Daytona, played using SSF emulator, didn't seem to want to play with any working SFX (although the music was present, just a bit on the quiet side) and the CCE version has a little bit of graphical glitching going on with the sky in the background.

I said at the start of the description that I was using almost every version; There was a also a port of the original Saturn versions of the game to PC, for Windows, back in the 90's. There was also a further-updated version of CCE for the Saturn later released in Japan as Daytona USA: Circuit Edition, which featured some cosmetic and gameplay changes to the original as well as online play. This version, too, was released on the PC and had a few graphical improvements as well as an exclusive extra track called Silver Ocean Causeway. Oh, and obviously there's also an Xbox 360 port that I believe is identical to the PS3 version.
