I managed to get a 1st on the Advanced course of Daytona 2 Power Edition using manual transmission. I've never really got on with manual transmission in Daytona 2, but I decided it was time I tried to properly get my head around it and put a bit of practice in. Next up; time to try and tame the Phantom car (gulp!)

This is on the still work-in-progress version of Supermodel 0.3. (this is SVN 270, which, to the best of my knowledge, is the latest build). The improvement in the emulation from v0.2 to v0.3 are pretty noticeable, with the odd laggy moments now a thing of the past and the occasional bit of weird multicoloured road that would appear on the expert course now gone. The game is pretty much 99.9% arcade perfect now, I think the missing AI car textures are about the only thing that differentiates the two. Awesome!
