DayZ Mod - Hatchet melee combat
8In this video I show the new application for the Hatchet: melee combat.
Hotfix 1.7.1.5 for DayZ seems to be pretty stable so far. Melee works (at least with the hatchet, I tried a crowbar without success), food and drinks are spawing regularly, weapons seem a little more difficult to obtain than before, but it's manageable, and zombies' detection skills and range seems ok.
There is just one weird zombie spawning bug I encountered that got me killed (that's why in this video I had just re-spawned), where if you engage a zombie that is already angry inside a building, a whole horde of them just appears around you.
