The DC is seen running long-hood leading along the East Coast Main Trunk. This was filmed somewhere between Morrinsville and Eureka. The locomotive was returning from Waitoa, and would stop at Ruakura to run around the train. After which, the train left the ECMT and headed onto the Hautapu line.
