In the game, players assume the roles of an investigation team that was unexpectedly split up during a surprise attack. The plot unfolds aboard a mysterious ship, where players encounter infected crew members and unravel the secrets of the vessel. The game features unique gameplay mechanics, including the ability to amputate specific body parts of enemies, timed explosives, and an infrared scope for detecting infections.
