DC Multiverse Detective Comics 1000 Batman review. This action figure is very good, with nice articulation in the mid-section and legs, but the cape does prevent the shoulders from having complete movement, although Batman can lift his arms high enough to hold up his grappling gun. There's texture depicted down the sides of his costume. Of course McFarlane's trademark omni-directional wrist and ankle joints are featured. Weakest point is the head, which can't look completely up. The sculpt looks good, but it doesn't really look like Jim Lee's art from the comics, it has more of an animated appearance. The paint applications are a little sloppy in some areas, such as the utility belt where some yellows are spilling over onto Batman's trunks. Accessories include a batarang and a grappling gun with a grappling hook extending as though it’s in mid-fire and both are very easy to get in Batman’s hands. On a scale of S to F, I rate him a B; this is a decent Batman, not a great Batman.
