The F/A-18C Raven One campaign was announced some time ago, but I finally got around to flying it. This is another custom campaign for DCS by Baltic Dragon which follows the events in the book Raven One by Kevin Miller. The story follows a squadron of F/A-18Cs conducting military exercises in the Persian Gulf as they deal with ever increasing tension and aggression from Iranian armed forces.
In the second mission, Flip (my pilot) is tasked with observing his wingman, Smoke, on a training mission with AWACS. They set off in formation for air-to-air refueling and follow with performing practice intercepts using AWACS calls. However, things take a drastic turn when a real Iranian aircraft takes off and flies directly towards the carrier group.
