Dead by Daylight - Jake learns to loop
1First up is killer round with the Spirit. At first, I could not find the survivors at all, they were nowhere to be found on the bottom floor. Then I hear a generator being worked on upstairs. At the worst possible time for the survivors (victims) , literally as I make my first attack, the trapped hex totem is broken which exposes all survivors. Cheryl and Dwight go down quickly and it was all down hill for them.
Claudette goes up against the Deathslinger. I blew a gen and hear him approaching. I try to stop the regression and run to what I think is a safe direction only to run right into him by the killer shack. I drop a pallet on him, but not before being wounded and I narrowly dodge a shot from his spear gun. Out the door on the other side, I turn left, and as he breaks the pallet, I double back the other way. As I round the corner, I see him going the other way, he fell for my diversion. I escape and heal up under the pier. I get to work fixing gens and healing survivors. I run into him again under the pier. I vault a window to evade him, vault back as he tries to catch me on the other side. He again narrowly misses me with his spear gun and I use the same evasive tactic by turning one direction and as he turns to intercept me, I go the other direction. Once all gens are popped, I get the gate mostly open, go make a save as another survivor gets sacrificed, and head to the gate, now open. We heal up a little bit, but the Deathslinger finds us and spears a survivor, Luckily, he's only wounded and the three of us make it out the gate.
Feng goes against the Executioner. We pop a gen early and I cleanse a totem as I am actively looking for them this game. I dodge the Executioner by ducking down by a pallet in case he sees me, but he goes by without incident. I get to work on more gens and another totem as well as helping to heal a few survivors. While trying to finish a last gen, Nancy blows it with the killer nearby. I drop a pallet on him as he approaches and split, but though he takes a moment to kick the gen, he comes after me. I run though a trail giving me torment, and he hits me with a wave of punishment of the damned as I block him with another pallet. I then lose him and get healed up by Dwight and Bill before we knock out the last gen. I open the gate most of the way while Nancy gets put into a cage of atonement. As I go help her, I come across a hex totem and hear the killer close, I duck down and carelessly vault a window right in front of him. He knocks me down (NOED?) and puts me into a cage of atonement as well. Nancy, released from her cage, comes and releases me from my own. As I start running for the exit, I find the hatch. Never the less, I head to the exit. As Bill gets it open, Dwight is downed and hooked. I have Bill heal me before I rescue Dwight. Nancy unfortunately is sacrificed as I do so. Dwight makes a risky escape through a nearby gate with the killer close by. this opens the hatch which is between me and the gate. I gladly hop in.
Jake against the Demogorgon. This was one of the best games I've played looping the killer. Admittedly, I had a few close calls and came out lucky. Eventually though, that luck ran out. He took me down as the third gen was completed. Then something strange happened. I don't know what it was trying to do, but it passed several hooks allowing me plenty of time to struggle free. I looped around into the next room and back through a hole in the wall. I then ducked down behind a bed by a pallet, planning to keep the game of cat and mouse running if need be, but the Demogorgon lost track of me. It checked a locker close by, searched the area by the bed as I rounded the other side, checked another locker and went back into the other room. I took that opportunity to go into the locker it checked already. It continued to search the area for me when the last two gens popped one after the other. I kept him busy the whole time. I healed up and opened the exit just short of full, and went looking for totems. The gate opened and the others escaped while I was on my side quest. I finally found one I had been looking for and the Demogorgon took up station by the exit I opened, waiting like a spider in it's web. I didn't want to wait to get out, so I made a dash for it. It took a piece of me as I went by, sliding over a pallet, and kept coming for me, attacking as I crossed beyond the threshold.
