0As I begin looking around, I have begun to notice these strange markings on the ground. I do not know what they are for, or who laid them here. As I crouched towards one, I began to examine it further. As I approached it, I heard a loud gurgling noise appear right behind me. Without thinking I began to run away from the source of the noise. However, doing so seemed to trigger this strange glyph on the ground, causing it to manifest into a horrid creature resembling that of an old decrepit witch, like those I have heard in folklore. Before I even had time to react, it then pierced my very flesh with its claws, and carved out my liver, devouring it ravenously. As I felt every single tear it made into my body, ripping my flesh apart, I woke up back at the campfire, right where it all started.
The Hag is a Setplay/Teleportation Killer. She can place down up to 10 phantasm traps, which will create a clone of the Hag and allow her to teleport to the trap's location, immediately facing the Survivor who triggered it. Survivors can avoid activating these traps by crouching near them and wiping them away to remove them entirely, but the Hag can always place more traps down. She has a simple yet efficient Power, much like many of the early Killers in Dead by Daylight. The Hag has three personal perks that introduced hex perks to the game. Hex: Devour Hope is a perk that grants tokens every time a Survivor is unhooked while more than 24 meters away from you. At 2 tokens, you gain the Haste Status Effect 10 seconds after hooking a Survivor, for a duration of 10 seconds; at 3 tokens, all Survivors suffer from the Exposed Status Effect; and at 5 tokens, you can kill downed Surviors by your own hand, regardless of the number of times you have hooked them. Hex: Ruin is a perk that regresses all Generators that are not being progressed. Lastly, Hex: The Third Seal gives Survivors you hit the Blindness Status Effect until the Hex Totem is cleansed or blessed.
