The Lights Out Modifier is finally here. In this game mode, the Killer has no Terror Radius; Survivors leave no Scratch Marks, but leave behind Blood Trails while injured; no Items, Add-ons, Offerings, or Perks; 8 chests spawn in the trial, and each chest has a 50% chance to give a Rare Item, a 30% chance to give a Very Rare Item, and a 20% chance to give an Ultra Rare Item (Keys are unavailable in this game mode); and lastly, you can only see up to 8 meters ahead of you while darkness shrouds your vision.
After so many years, Dead by Daylight finally introduced a new game mode. And it's ok. But most of the work was being made towards implementing new game modes, not the game mode itself, at least theoretically. It's an easy game mode to make, I cannot imagine this being the only game mode they ever make, especially since it only lasts one week. This moment is bigger than we realize. We are on the verge of having a 2v8 game mode... maybe in a few years, like they always say.
