Dead Matter Closed Alpha Release Date!
416Hello there ladies and gentlemen and welcome back to Pathfinder Plays and today we are going
to be talking about Dead Matter and the opening times that they released yesterday. Lets get into
it.
So, even though there is a countdown on the qi website counting down to the release of the game
(link in the description) people continue to call the game a scam. Which, I do understand that
sentiment, I am not blind to the fact that the game has had multiple delays, has given us many
estimations for release and even had a “concrete” timeframe for release earlier this year that fell
through due to unforeseen circumstances. But, despite this rather rough series of events that
spread the time of 2 to 3 years, they have done something now that has not happened before.
They have released the Dead Matter Closed Alpha opening times and dates!
I won’t read all the locations or times because there are a ton of them, but just know that the
release dates are Wednesday, August 19 th and Thursday, August 20 th . There are various release
times depending on the time zone you fall into, so be sure you know which one you fall into.
You can find the official release times pinned in the Dead Matter discord.
Now, this is important for a couple reasons. The first being that once again, I don’t believe that
they have released such detailed information regarding a release. This gives me confidence in
what they say and their intentions. In the past they have given soft estimates to avoid official
delays. As the term in their discord goes, “It can’t be a delay if they gave no date”. Which leads
to the second point, that if they miss this date, the backlash from the community would literally
be the most hellish kerfuffle they have experienced yet.
That being said, I am confident they will release on schedule and I am excited to see what videos
