===== ABOUT THE TRAINING DUMMY =====

This is kind of special, because if you don't know yet, the Training Dummy character in this game is actually meant to be Ayane! As the Saturn version of the game was released in 1997 before the PS1 version (1998), this means that it is Ayane's first ever appearance in Dead Or Alive, as an unplayable character. This is proved by the fact that in DOA5 and the PS1 version of DOA1, Ayane has this exact same costume as an alternative outfit.

Gameplay-wise, she is a 'basic' character. She is able to do the basic punches, kicks and holds as well as guard. She does have one advanced move, and that is the back-flip strike that Kasumi has. Apart from that she has no other advanced moves, and she cannot even jump.

---- She has no name under her lifebar, it's just blank.

---- She has no pre-fight intro pose.

---- She has no win pose. This means you actually have to press Start to progress during the 'win pose' part after a match.

---- As mentioned earlier, she cannot jump.

---- If you select her in Training mode, she'll freeze the game before it loads. The reasons for this could be that she has no Command list to load, or she doesn't have an alternative costume.

---- If you complete Arcade mode with her (after you defeat Raidou), Ayane will remain in her stance winning pose and you cannot progress further from this point.

---- As mentioned earlier, she has Kasumi's back-flip strike. This suggests that Training Dummy / Ayane was made using Kasumi as the 'template'.
