Dead or Alive 2 - (Dreamcast - actual hardware) Button Mash Bonanza!
Here's a quick playthrough of Dead or Alive 2 on the Dreamcast. This was footage I'd originally obtained to just use bits of for my "Sega Model 3 and the Dreamcast WTF Went Wrong" video when I'd dug my Dreamcast out of storage to get video capture from various games. As this is the complete warts 'n' all footage I haven't cut out any of the bits where I lose a round or any thing. My video capture equipment for obtaining video from regular SD/SCART sources is pretty basic and always results in a bit of a grainy picture. Ain't nothin' I can do about that.
Dead or Alive 2 was one of the games that came with my Dreamcast. I'd never heard of the series before, and boy, as one of my very first experiences of what the Dreamcast was capable of graphically this game absolutely blew me away when I first played it. The graphics were such a major leap forward when compared to the PS1 or Saturn fighters I'd played from the console generation just before it. I think it still holds up well today. The game is also very fun and intuitive to play, with a fun roster of characters. Plus boobs!
One of those games, I probably wouldn't have ever played if it hadn't come with the system, but I'm so glad I got to.
