- Nyotengu is a "Middleweight" character
- Nyotengu's counter holds are unremarkable and leave the opponent close by
- Nyotengu's Fatal Rush attacks have the ability to free cancel into the Hiten-No-Mai (HnM) stance. For instance: S~P+K, SS~P+K, SSS~P+K, etc.
- P+K is i10 and -11 on block, though its block stun is fairly short at 24 frames of recovery
- 7K is a great move for space control since it pushes back on block a fair bit
