Dead Space Review - Does It Need A Remake?
178Dead Space released on the 14th October 2008, influenced by Sci-Fi horror greats in Alien/ Event Horizon and moulded by RE4/ System Shock; Dead Space launched a new franchise into the public consciousness changing survival horror forever.
Its been 14 years since its launch and with a remake coming in 2023 it gave me a perfect excuse to revisit the franchise to see if it holds up all these years later.
During the course of this review I'll explain what works, what doesn't and if it even needs a remake...
