Performance Mode uses a dynamic resolution with the highest resolution found being 3840x2160 and the lowest resolution found being approximately 2133x1152. Pixel counts at 3840x2160 were rare and pixel counts at 2133x1152 were uncommon. The resolution changes often in Performance Mode.
Visual Quality Mode uses a dynamic resolution with the highest resolution found being 3840x2160 and the lowest resolution found being 3264x1836. Pixel counts at 3840x2160 were rare and the resolution seems to usually be at 3264x1836 in Visual Quality Mode.
Raytracing Mode uses a dynamic resolution with the highest resolution found being 3840x2160 and the lowest resolution found being approximately 2970x1800. Edit: The original post saying that pixel counts at 3840x2160 in RT mode seem to be uncommon has been edited because it may not apply to some scenes.
All three modes seem to be using AMD FSR to upscale the resolution to 3840x2160.
Raytracing mode appears to use raytraced ambient occlusion and raytraced sun shadows https://bit.ly/3AjnXrU
