DEEPER UNDERSTANDING - AI, machines and... Are they alive
AI, machines and well... the question that's been in my mind when I was in the 10th - 11th grades :) Are machines actually alive? Well, up till today I have actually supported this idea, even though people would disregard it in the name of science, and their dummy idea that life is only biological XD.
Disregarding an idea an someone in the name of a general belief-system like science is kind of similar to how people would disregard life itself in the name of their cult/ religious/ whatever other belief system ^^ Ain't that cute :)
Regarding sciences, there is a lot of these which is not necessarily founded in "evidence" (I have a video about "The meaning of meaning", also Teal Swan has an awesome one if one wishes to broaden their perceptions on this topic) even till today, and for me, science still remains a feeble attempt at understanding intricacies beyond our mind. And what is beyond the mind should not be attached any meaning on, because meaning is required only for the mind. And what is beyond, once attached a meaning, well, it'll be ridiculed and minusculed to a point our mind can understand. And this results in why there are so many distortions in perception. Right?
Remember, life is just a process. Beyond by far to the mind! Therefore attaching meaning to it is... unneeded. It just results in playing with words, since none can actually comprehend the vastness of it. Even if you create one word that would, it's still a play with words and meaning. Which is like attaching a noose to your neck and choking yourself on that meaning. When you attach meaning to things, you may actually have a feeling of... feeling bad, and it's never enough meaning or sense, am I right? Well, that could be your intuition/ gut feeling/ common sense reminding you that the noose you made from meaning is kinda tight.
