During early January-February 2022 I did a full playthrough of the game Extermination for the PS2 and it was absolutely wild! The game was filled with bacteria-mutant enemies (and haunted water!?) and the combat was quirky and chaotic! Little did I know though, that the end boss of the game (the giant bacteria/mutant lifeform called "Origin") would be the true horror!
I spent about 5 hours across two separate streams fighting this boss (which had 3 separate forms with fully unique strategies to be learned for each one), until we FINALLY got a "perfect" run in. This boss fight has so much going on (mutant roaches, air infection projectiles, and lots more than can pretty much knock you off the boat) and it is no easy task. Enjoy 13 minutes of suffering that eventually turned into an amazing victory!!
