And being the worldly connoisseur of fine art that I am… I’ve always thought of some games as “white wall games”. Because if you are going to shove 140 hours of Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous down your throat... I don’t know man, you probably want to take it easy before tackling something like Solasta Crown of the Magister or going back to some old time behemoth like Baldur's Gate II, Icewind Dale II or some other 40 hour plus titan immediately after.
And for 7 dollars, you could do a lot worse than Defend the Rook. This is a nice little roguelike turn based tower defense game with a few RPG mechanics. My bet is that Defend The Rook will keep you thoroughly entertained for at least a couple of gaming days.
And hey this the perfect recommendation, I think, for those who always say “ain’t nobody got time for that” every time you recommend a game. The same people that come in on Monday and say “dude I watched all 40 episodes of all three seasons of this or that series”. Defend The Rook is game that you can jump at, play 30 minutes, one hour and then go back to work or to whatever it was you were doing.
