Tainted Grail: Conquest. A roguelite action RPG with card-based combat mechanics that takes place in an Arthurian dark fantasy setting… and I’m talking DARK! Like Dark Souls 3 meets Hellblade Senua’s sacrifice DARK.

This is already a candidate for top-ten games of decade. If you're into ARPGS, deckbuilding or rogue-lites, or if you're simply tired of looking for games that hace decent writing, this is a steal.

I originally thought it was going to be one of those blank wall games, a palette cleanser of sorts to stare at between Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous and Temple of Elemental Evil (which is coming up next), not too different from Defend the Rook (in terms of its entertainment value. But boy o boy was I wrong. This game's freaking awesome.

The soundtrack for Tainted Grail is also one of the best to come out in years... And I'm not even exaggerating here. I'll leave the link here because this one's worth listening to even if you're not interested in playing the game.

If tactical RPGS are your thing, if card games a-la Magic the Gathering, Hearthstone or Gwent are your thing... this is a no-brainer.
