Games like Arcanum and Baldur's Gate 2 were a blessing and a curse. I don't need to tell you why they we been a blessing, I imagine. They were a curse though, because they raised de CRPG bar very high. And one department in which they set the standard was definitely player choice.

Ever since I've expected my choice to matter in RPGs and much to my disappointed, it's rather rare when I'm satisfied with I get in this respect. But ever so often... its does happen: Fallout New Vegas, Tyranny... there have been some.

Today we're going to talk about perhaps the latest video game to come out that fully embraces the concept of player choice: Citizen Sleeper. But that's not the only thing it does very right. This game will take you from time on a narrative tour de force that will remind you of games like Disco Elysium or Planescape: Torment.

Citizen sleeper is a space science fiction RPG by Fellow Traveller and published by Jump Over the Age that uses dice mechanics to put you in the drivers seat of its gameplay as well as its story.
