Defending Takistan - Barely Tactical ARMA 3
2Takistan is in grave danger. The criminal extremist organisations of the Altajzia smuggling group and Almuzariein cartel have merged their extensive operations, renaming themselves Alaitalif, ‘the Coalition'. For years, the two have plagued the country but this merger brings a new, dark era to Takistani history. Alaitalif have already cleared any and all competition from their criminal networks and smuggling rings, and have now set their sites on the city of Zargabad, which grants 'the coalition' access to a nearby airfield and the Hazar Bagh pass to the North. Using the pass, they will have full access to the Green Sea through the port town of Bandar-e Ghazmi.
Today, Alpha Weapons Platoon of the Takistani Republican Army have been placed in reserve, whilst Bravo and Charlie defend the South from the brunt of Alaitalif attacks. Alpha will act as a counter-insurgency and Quick Reaction Force to repel any sudden Alaitalif incursions and attacks. First order of business is to repel an incoming attack from the West on an oil refinery after clearing said refinery of any and all contact. We expect them to use the oil and fuel trucks here as VB-IEDs and strike key targets within Zargabad and to blow holes in the Southern Defensive Line. Then, we must move to the Zargabad airport, and defend it from attack. Some fortifications have been setup in preparation. Finally, we must, if necessary, move to assist in the defense of the royal villa on the North-Eastern side of the city, and evacuate Prince Kochar Jamil who is staying within the city to assist in Humanitarian efforts.
Alpha has been supplied two BTR-40s and a number of Land Rovers for transportation and re-arm. The wave of Alaitalif is huge, and rapidly approaching. Will it break upon the city of Zargabad and Alpha? Or will it instead swallow them both whole?
