Delayed eFootball 2022 update will fix glitches this week
Konami has announced ‘eFootball 2022’s upcoming patch will be released this week.
‘eFootball 2022’ version 0.9.1 was originally due to release on October 28 until Konami announced the news of its delay on October 22.
In a new Twitter post, the company has confirmed that the patch will be released on November 5 for PC and consoles.
The post revealed: “This update serves to fix bugs only, with detailed patch notes made available on our website at the time of release.”
Since the game’s launch back in September, the football simulation title has been heavily criticised by players, to the extent that it became the lowest-rated Steam game of all time.
Following the criticism, Konami addressed concerns by players in a statement released to Twitter.
At the time, the company acknowledged “reports of problems users have experienced with cut-scenes, facial expressions, movements of players and the behaviour of the ball” and promised to deliver an ongoing series of improvements.
